Replacing lower ball joints with Beck Arnley ones was the very first repair I did when I got my '91 7 years ago. I paid $57 each back then. No problems at all.

I don't remember any problems, but I think having a good ball joint separator tool was important here (mine was good enough to make it easy). On jobs like this, everything is easy until the thing that is supposed to come apart easily does not. The right tools help. And patience. And WD-40.

As far as the Beck Arnley part presenting any problems - no, it worked perfectly.

I prefer the raybestos pro line to B&A, but OEM over all.

yep raybestos pro is made in japan, but OEM is best if price isn't too much of a concern (not too much more).

I went with OEM but it seems like a lot of ppl have gone aftermarket on this particular part lately. You have to save a couple of dollars when you can when replacing stuff on these aging cars.

they don't make good aftermarket BJs for 2nd gen cars, at least ones i want to run. i heard from yamae that these "three five" BJs are subpar to the japanese market as well, but of course they are much better than others made in mexico or the like. what i'm getting to is that OEM is always the way to go, of course not the most economically feasible.

Without the discount they $124 so make sure to make an account.
