special tools??
Hello everyone,
I am getting ready to do a valve/shim adjustment on my 92ls400 and have a couple questions.
1. Is there any special tools for the job once im at the valves?
What is a SST"A" and SST"B"?? I see this in the manual. i beleive its the special tool.but not sure what it is.
2. Do i necessarily have to buy the new shims from the lexus dealer or do other parts stores have access to them?
Thanks everyone for your help,

1. You'll need Toyota/Lexus valve adjusting tools. One tool pushes the valve down while other tool holds the valve down.
2. I don't think local parts store will have access to the shims. I think shims are less than $10 each from Lexus.
