Default For sale in FL with almost 900k on the odometer?!?

Ok... This is impressive..
Found this in Florida when searching for another one of those grandma cars with only 28k miles on it. According to the cluster picture this1996 model has almost 900k on it.

And that's not kilometers....
Some of us have a ways to go it seems.

No relations and not selling.. just showing another high mileage example of these great machines.

I think the most impressive thing about the car is that the interior is still in such great shape to have been driven SO much.

Hmmm.. It makes you wonder was it was used for. Maybe it belonged to one of those taxi type services like the Lincoln Town cars you see at the airport. Either that or someone who worked for the over-the-road "wide load escort" teams wanted to ride in comfort!

Some Lexus dealer should ****** that up and put it in their showroom with a placard

I remember seeing this car on ebay last winter. Looking up the old listing, I see it's been driven less than 200 miles since February, so maybe it's finally reached the end. 900K is a good run, it deserves to rest in peace.

the condition of the interior especially is just incredible, almost as if it was somehow driven but never sat in. the driver seat in particular looks brand new #

The old ebay listing said the driver seat has been recovered, and the car has been repainted.

For $1,900 (or less if you could haggle) it'd be worth it to finish it out to the million mile mark. It's like the opposite of the time capsule with only 56K miles on it one of the other members just bought for around $13K.

Both struck a special chord with me since they're both the same color combo as mine

I have the car here in Tampa, Matt is picking it up from me in a week or so to drive it to Cali.

Car needed the following:

All new fluids
New tires (Matt is putting on winter tires)
New belt
New Air Filter
Needs a new stereo and speakers
New steering rack (boots are ripped and seals are shot)
Could use rotors and pads in rear

That's all I have found so far

From your pic I see it needs new hood struts too. They're about $40 on ebay and pop right in.
