I'm thinking of buying this 90 LS400, as you can see in the ad, it has a few issues. What do you guys think the overheating issue might be and what I should be checking for?

Price is negotiable, the car is in pretty good condition for its age a few dents on the body and a small spot of rust. Needs new tires and an oil change. Front seat back adjuster is broken
6-disc changer
Power windows
Sunroof
A/c
Heat works but is kind of weak
Power seats
New altnator
Changed tranny fluid at about 195,000
Battery is also new
That's just slush on the car paint is in good condition

Thanks.

Lots of stuff wrong with it. The over heating is likely from not much coolant flow or air lock, he says heat is weak. Only nice thing is the color, I don't like fabric seats though they wear better than leather, they just hold all the dirt and what ever else was spilled on them. Good parts car. For what you'd put into it a better bet is something 1200 or so more with no issues. Even a 93 up seen them around 2200 to 2500.

You should be able to get a much better example for not much more money. this one's been beat to hell and isn't worth that much more than what you'd get if you scrapped it out right now since the chassis' rusting according to seller.
