Default The mysterious "misfire" returns

Seems like this happens when it gets cold because I never experienced this in the summer. Last winter when just crusing, the car would buck. sometimes a quick little "dut dut dut" liek you drvove ove rrumble strips, other times it felt as though all 4 tires hit a massive pothole at once. Very large buck from the engine, as though it just comepletely cut out on all cylinders for a split second. All dash and headlights remain on with no flicker.

No codes, ecu was repaired with the proper components. new fluid in the trans and diff last winter, i put ngk double platinum plugs in it last winter and it seemed ot be fine after that untill now...old plugs looked fine, and these ones have like...15k miles on them??

any ideas? This ones a toughy.

Check the battery cables for good clean contact with the post.

I would check your tranny fluid. Mine started to do what I thought was some weird bucking but really my tranny fluid was low. Sometimes the check engine light came on but went off. That's my two cents.

It could be a relay getting ready to go. Intermittents are hard to trouble shoot.
