Default 92 LS400 Tach Needle Fading/Flickers

hi all, just inherited a 92 LS400 and i have noticed that my tach needle flickers......sometimes its fully lit and other times the very tip of it is not lit. thought i would get some insight from you guys first before i do anything to it. just FYI everything else on dash works fine just the tach needle flickering at times thank you

I've added photos of it when its out but sometimes its lit ill try and get a photo when its fully lit

We can repair this. Call or email if interested. Otherwise DIY is somewhere on this forum. This is the most fragile cluster on the planet, very easy to break or throw the needles out of calibration.

I've found a solution that I'm going to do this weekend and will post results after but i have found a great tutorial that i wanted to post a link to the page i found so hopefully it will help others aswell

Also if your clock/ Climate control lcd display is blacked out like mine is there is a tutorial i found for that too

Yes these fixes have been around for a while. Try it and let us know how it worked for you. My needle is just like that but I think Ill wait til spring to try the fix.
