99 LS400 OEM Headlight Conversion

I tried searching and couldn't find any info. I wanted to know if the oem HID's can be swapped into a 99 LS400 with the non HID setup?

they'll bolt in but will require substantial wiring to work properly, and tearing apart the car to run wiring for the headlight levelling sensors.

Easier and arguably cheaper to have the headlights retrofitted with projectors nad run an HID kit.
