Its a lot of car for the money, its a bit older fella orientied, but older fellas demand the finest, and thats what the LS delivers.

This is my first car and I don't have much knowledge until now. This one I got from a relative.

(my 2 cents)...... Always wanted to buy an LS .... Fell in love with uncles 95... But either family, kids, or money kept me out of the seat
Been lookin for a year to find a 96-97, clean one owner LS..... Search ended when I ran across this one !

Folks bought it new...went to trade and yep...dealer wanted to "curb the trade"....I told them I been dreaming of this one and offers 3600 for it.... All said n done..I paid 4000... 135K miles. All service done at the lex store.
I'm stoked...waited way to long..however I'm hoping "Good things come to those who wait"
Love this ride

This is great - I have just joined the LS400 club as well, since last Friday. My generous uncle (who is an ex-forum member) gave me his 1993 LS400 with 138K miles (THANKS UNCLE!!!), meticulously maintained by a SINGLE Lexus dealership for the last 22 years (he bought it from them in 1992). The car is in fantastic shape, even has a new battery. Looking forward to getting to know the car inside out. Glad to find this GREAT forum!

Default New Owner 1996 LS400

bought
Just bought a nice 1 owner 1996 Lexus LS400.. 89k original documented miles.
It has every service record from its purchase in California to Nevada to here the last few years. incl the shipping manifest to port.
The previous owner has kept such meticulous recordes of every oil change, bulb. tires etc...I am going to do the same. I hope its the last time I have to buy a car.

I've owned serious high performance cars over the years. I originally was looking a 08,09 SVTs because you buy them so cheap now. But with children, the size of men, I compromised a little. (lol) I had to have a V8 that would run a little, but had a nice big back seat. Lexus was the answer.
I wanted an LS430 but drove this 400 and bought it. It almost looks new. I might add...freakin AMAZING RIDE.

I will be using mid grade and premium rotated but I fill up every week even if it needs 1 gallon. GAs in Indianapolis goes up and down like a YOYO. Mondays and Tuesdays its cheapest...I fill up then and save 20 to 50 cents a gallon. I just stay ahead of their game and I never buy Speedway gas. never ever ever...ANyway ....good luck all.
