If i remember correctly there are three bolts that attach the a/c compressor to the bracket. You will have to drop the compressor to get it off.

There is a bolt just under the A/C compressor that you will need to remove. You may also need to bend a bracket back to get to it. Climb under the car and look closely for a bolt going thru the compressor. That is what is holding it. I do not think you will need to remove the compressor.

As I recall, there are one or two bolts by the AC compressor that are coming at it from the driver's side (i.e. perpendicular to the other ~4 bolts that are facing front. Very easy to miss those. I was in your exact situation when I did mine about 3 years ago.

definitely there are 2 bolts that you need to remove, as well as a small electrical bracket.

one obvious one on bottom of the AC unit near the ground cable,
the second really long bolt goes through the ac unit and is in a bit of a tight spot although nothing is "tight" compared to the starter job.

the bracket you need to remove is on top of the AC compressor. regular screwdrivers dont quite fit so I used a couple extensions and a phillips bit socket point out towards the fuse box to remove the bracket screws
