Default Wiring diagram needed, amp drain found 00 LS400

Hi guys, first post. Wonderful community here.

Anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for a 98-00 LS? More specifically a the 10A radio circuit for a non nakamichi platinum 2000 LS.

The car kills the battery after sitting for about 3 days, used an ammeter and found the radio fuse under the hood is the drain. Also had the fuse pop once on my Wife.

2000 LS400 170K miles

Thanks in advance.

Just out of curiosity, how much is the drain? Sometimes it's just an old battery that can't hold up without frequent recharge cycles, or charging issues. I think around 80 ma is typical phantom draw.

Thanks for the reply; it's definitely not the battery. Or the alternator, both checked out good, battery is almost new.

It's actually the 20A (I said 10A out of memory) 'radio' fuse under the hood. Anyone have a diagram? I don't remember the amp draw but when you put the fuse back in it sparks loudly... If you pull that fuse it can sit for weeks.

Sounds like the amp is dying/has an internal short. Lexus doesn't release schematics for the circuitry of the amp itself so your best bet is finding another '98-00 oem amp if you can trace the drain to just the amp. To do that I would recommend unplugging it and seeing if you have battery drain.

The amp is located under the passenger seat, to access the plugs for it all you need to do are move the passenger seat all the way forward and up, and remove the AC vent underneath it, the amp is behind the plastic vent.

There are several radio fuses that power much more than just the radio, hence the need to actually test the amp. THe owner's manual will detail what else each fuse ties into.
