LS400 Control Arms
Does anyone here happen to have any used or bad front control arms from a 1st generation LS400 laying around? Just looking to get some to take some measurements.
Thanks in advance!

Sure just make sure to let us know that you'll be coming by!
On the arms, I'll actually need to have them, so basically looking for something off of a wrecked car or bad ones that have been replaced. If you hear, let me know! I'm definitely not going to pay the wrecking yard premium price for them...not yet at least.

I have a upper control arm for a 91 LS400, drivers side.
It was rattliing over bumps, etc, which was a common
problem as many know. The ball joint is still good.
The 1 of the bushing is OUT of the arm , I took it apart
to see if I could custom make some control arm bushings.
I work in an R&D mfg co. for laser optics.
The bushing itself looks like a bushing sleeve with a spherical ball in the center and is larger in diameter than the bushing sleeve, that bushing is encased in a 2 piece plastic housing which in turn slips into a steel sleeve with a pressed cap to hold everything together. The sleeve is then molded into a thin rubber bushing into the control arm. That part was cut away to get out the bushing.
Looking at the design , it prevents binding of the bushings when one axis is not co-axial with the other side of the control arm, i.e. twisting/flexing of the body under hard cornering. The 2 bushing appears to be independent axial rotation.
I do need a new right side arm now. Either I am going to mod the existing arms/bushing or buy a new one. I think a simple new straight sleeve would bind and squeak under load. The chatter comes from the bushing hitting the steel casing after the packing has worn away.
