Congrats, on LS ownership. The 98-00 LS400 iIMHO are the best of all model year. One of the best car ever engineered period, when the LS was developing they had over 1000 engineer working on project F that's more engineer than Boeing 747 development. Enjoy!!!

I always thought that painted calipers were a color accent.. I love the combo of black and red so go for it.. hopefully u do some more accentuating like red interior stitching.. just please dont go too far like these guys

Never that's too much bling for me, and I would like to have the Lexus logo painted on in silver.IMO white like the brembo style would look tacky unless the car is white lol.... I do plan on doing black grill insert & piano black door pillars .a simple exhaust is last on the list. does anybody have vibrant mufflers on their LS would love to hear and see some clips please post it up TY going to go with 6000k Hid fogs soon to match the other led lights ,along with a rewire to control them independently.

Welcome. My first LS was that model and that color(my friends called it black on black crime). I've had three total. You may find yourself in that LS more than any other vehicle you own. I currently have a white 99 LS, a silver 02 LS430, and a couple Honda products(I always keep some form of Civic in my garage in case gas gets out of hand) and I drive the 99 LS more than anything else. Its addictive....

I love my 2000. I drive to restaurants 35 minutes away just so I can drive it.

I also removed the rear mufflers. That made it sound perfect. You can hear it driving around town, and it's still quite on the highway. Until you open her up. The motor in this car sounds great when she stretches her legs.
