I currently own 2 LS's but have had 3 total. My first was with me for 4 years(98 Black on Black) bought in 2005 totaled in 2009. I purchased a 2002 LS430 in 2007 before I totaled the 98. After I totaled the 98 I bought a 99 LS (White with the morbid grey interior...I love that interior) and I drive the 99 more than every car I currently own. Heck, I hardly touch the LS430 because the 400 is much more solid IMO. I will possibly trade in one of my Honda products and the LS430 for something new in the future, but my 99 LS400 a.k.a Lucy Liu a.k.a. Lex Lutha a.k.a. The Millennium Falcon will be in my fleet forever if the lord says the same.
Well, I have had 12 LS400's from 96-2014... one 92, one 94, two 95's, two 96's, one 97, and five 99's (it took a few tries to get the best) and we expect to drive them the rest of our lives... I turn 80 in June..
photo's below.
Billydpowe, which model do you think is the best and most reliable?
How about this:who is the youngest owner? Who is the oldest owner?
Different discussion threads. From past discussions, the youngest was 16. Billydpowe is the one I recollect for the other category. Typical was was the 20-30 range.

At the time of receiving it? Probably me (see my previous post). At this point in time, I'm pretty sure I've been succeeded. At least I could probably say I'm the youngest with a '99 As for the oldest, I'm 99% sure that was billydpowe. I know Kansas dropped out of the LS game with his recent acquisition of a Toyota Sienna, so he would've been my second nomination.
oh too old to mention, lets say I stopped counting at 30
By "youngest" I meant that I only had my LS for 1.5 yrs, where others here seem to have had theirs for much longer.
We need Kansas to speak up here... he's probably got the record... but since he switched to the Sienna... it's up for grabs...
Yep, my 24 year Lexus addiction seems to have vanished. Loving the Sienna's massive carrying capacity and technology -- especially radar cruise control - and useful/fun gadgets like rain sensing wipers, power folding mirrors, 3rd row power reclining seats; auto headlight dimming with tail light sensing camera. Not loving that the video player isn't Blu-ray and that Entune is missing on the Limited but available on cheaper trim levels.
And why can't all vehicles have 120 volt outlets? Hmmm ... maybe I'll plug in a George Foreman Grill and a Showtime Rotisserie ("Set it and forget it!") and cook while driving.
