Default Drainage Line Leaking In Trunk?

My 1996 LS400 pools water in left side of trunk when it rains.

I see the water surrounds a tube (circled in RED in attached photo).

Would a knowledgeable soul please educate me on what the tube surrounded by a pool of water in my trunk is for?

Where is it running from/to? (Could it be a drainage line from the left rear moon roof port?)

My trunk seal appears to be in excellent condition and free of debris.

Thanks for the help!

Was the tube loose?

The tube is not VISIBLY loose but it appears that debris has accumulated where the tube meets the trunk bottom.

I imagine the tube extends beneath the trunk from this point to ultimately drain directly to the ground below.

(1) Can I pull the tube out from this point and easily re-insert it again?

(2) Has anyone attempted to run a line (weed trimmer for example) UP the sunroof drain line from this point to attempt to clear it? (any reason I wouldn't want to try and do this)

Thanks!

Yes and yes to both questions so there's no reason you should not try it.
