Default How do I replace the bulb in my front side marker light.

The on on the fender? I cannot see a way to get at the back of the light. 1999 Model year. Do I get to it under the hood?

Thanks

Ok, Not from under the hood that I can see. Do I have to remove the head light assembly?

Does the light just slide forward to get it loose?

remove the screw on the top... then pull evenly straight forward and the unit should pop out...
I just did one on my 99... pretty easy when you've done it once and know what to expect.

There is no screw.. I am talking about the small amber marker light that is on the side of the fender."or bumper" since the bumper wraps around.... . At least I see no screw anywhere on the light.

it's a pain. you need to come in from under the bumper/fenderwell after removing most of the plastic trim. tight squeeze.

So happy I had mine shaved off.

easiest way is to go in from the fender well side. you can just turn the wheel to one side but i find it easier to just remove the wheel, unfasten the fender liner screws, and go from there. then it's a simple twist counterclockwise and the bulb holder is off while the lens remains on the bumper. i highly suggest you replace both bulbs on each side! the other is bound to burn out soon.

One of mine is cracked so I want to replace it with clear ones. I heard the GS ones fit but am hesitant to order until I'm sure.

I did mine from the top. I removed the headlight and went to work. Its much tighter than the passenger side but you can do it with a little patience.
