no. my car came with standered coils not air suspension.

"Aired Out" - lowering the car as much as possible by letting all the air out of the bags of your air suspension.

1uzae86,
Yes, guys running really agressive width tend to have air suspensions. I do daily my car where as others do not.
The factory air suspension on the 400s is problematic and slamming with a height should be avoided. Timy has a how-to thread for an air install using UAS bags and BC Coilovers, that I used as the basis for my Elevel install.
I haven't had time to put together a comprehensive how-to just yet.

Greg,
for which setup? With my current setup, I have about 1.5" of tuck in the rear and about ¾" in the front with -7.5° in the rear aired out and -4.4° at my 25" ride heights.

Timmy,
I shall reach the holy grail before you, Dr Jones!

Do you have a list of everything you ordered for your set up? I also plan to daily my car, so im looking for a balance between slammed and a comfortable ride if thats even possible lol

You might not like the list I give you, you'll be looking at spending over $5k to do what I did...

ah, the rear camber is definitly what helps you tuck those monsters in. Im only running 4.5 rear , 3.5 frontcamber at ride height but have a roll and pull on mine. Same height 25" i believe. Just got new tires and inner/outer tie rods (remember my tire chewing thread?-yeah inners were going, no in out play but super loose radially) so will be re-aligning.

whoops nvm just see your at same camber as me at same height. So im assuming you didnt do a pull on the rear?
I dont remeber right now, its been a while since ive had the car on the ground, but at ride height I think I have a bit of poke on the rear, the rim protector on the tire just barely shaves on the inner fender. Can barely fit a credit card between the rim and fender when aired out.
-4.5 liek you have is nice for DD, definitly still wears tires-but it is what it is. Mine look like wedges lol

Greg,
the tuck on my setup comes from the fact that I have almost 1" more offset than you! I'm at 10 33et and 11 32et where as you are at 6 and 10 respectively...
My inner barrel is about 4-5mm off the knuckle in the front and when aired out I'm touching the shock in the rear, my guess is you have about 1" of wasted space in both those areas so you could be running 1" wider wheels on your inside fitment and loose no function.

IMHO, the rear tuck I have I nice for right now but if I can find new lips for my Ordens, I'll probably have the fender lips sitting on the rim lips with my new setup. That means the rear will come up about ½" and I'll be off the rear shocks, so I can add a touch more rear camber if needed to fit my bigger wheels... Plus I'm working on something to move the rear shock mounting point in and down to give me even more inside clearance!

I knew i would have to do some fender rolling to get big wheels to fit flush. Im willing to get concave? wheels to clear some suspension components, but will 19x11s/19x10s work without having to cut into the car? If not whats a good wheel size that'll sit flush when the car is lowered?
The car will be a daily with once un a while shows.

that depends on what sort of stance you plan to run.
mad camber and slammed will fit a lot more than a mild drop with minimal camber...

Stance wise while driving, im looking for the front to be a bit lower then the back. Stance while parked, i want the car sitting on the frame so no a$$hole can steal the car lol
