Honestly I really don't feel like fixing and just cut my losses.. If I were to sell it the way it sits how much is it worth ?
Heres some info...

The links were in post #9. My thought on a so-so running LS, $1.5-2.5K depending just how clean it is. Many shops will not replace the caps so they will order a whole ECU at $1,800. As Yamae has mentioned, many of those have the failing capacitors. Basically, the car is parts materials at this stage. The cost to fix it is minimal for the return on selling a running car.

Hello! I'm new here and I'm from Poland, so please be tolerant if I make some language mistakes. I wonder is it possible to find a wiring diagrams for immobilizer for LS400 1995? I tried to find something in web but it's some kind of magic secret knowledge. My problem looks like this:
I have 1uz-fe 1995 from LS400, and I put it into S13 (200sx). Engine starts on 2-3seconds and dies. From many web sites I know that problem is in immo. I have a complete immo with transmitter and key and ecu immo, but I have no idea how to connect it with engine ECU. Maybe someone knows how to do it? In link below you can find pictures of my electrical devices.

I'll be grateful for any help.

Well I had it up for 3500 when I thought it was running perfect but now since this has happened I dropped it to 2500.. I'm thinking about just fixing it and putting it back up for 3500 or possibly even keeping it for myself.. Has anyone done this themselves ? The only reason why I haven't done it yet is I haven't had time to do it.. Any estimates on how long it will take to do ?

A badly failed ECU can't turn on the check engine light. Those failed capacitors can't eliminate the ripples and noise at DC lines resulting no code and no light. The OBDII code reader neither can't read any code in this situation. Sometimes it's too late to replace those capacitors because the leaked liquid kills the board quickly.

So should I just be on the safe side and just buy a new ECU ? I also just notice that if I drive the car manual it drives perfect.. But if I leave it in D and try to drive it normal it won't go pass 2k barely wants to go pass 1500-1600rpm from a stop. Would the ECU cause that too or a trans sensor ?

But if it killed the board the car wouldn't run period right ? would it just cause just the check engine light not to come on ? Because the rest will.. Like my trac light will blink and sometimes the ECT power light will blink.
