so today i finally had some time to get the blower motor out to test it, and it blows pretty damn strong when hooked to a 12v. that rules out the resistor and motor being bad now. Im being told the last thing i can try is replacing the control unit?

Chasing down electrical problems using a multi-meter. Way cheaper than throwing parts at it and praying.

I have removed the dash completely. I see the blower motor but cant located the module to exchange it.

Any suggestions or info on how to locate it? Thanks a bunch!

Hey I know this thread is years old, but I just took my old blower control module out of my '96. Let me know if you'd want it. I feel weird throwing it away knowing there are basically 0 of them in stock on the Internet right now. And they are around $300 if they were to be in stock. 😂

Is it still good I might be interested in it? For a while now my AC fan speed will work fine then will be stuck in full speed. Here is a post I made on it (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...-changing.html)

Hey I looked at your post and I had similar problems but it was stuck on the lowest speed and would randomly blow on the speed I had it selected to, but only for like a minute and would go back to the lowest speed. So mine is for sure bad. Not sure if they can be repaired or not? I luckily found one at a tear apart for a whole $3.
