Default my favorite cabin air filter

the activated charcoal, exact fit Denso 453-1008 at rock auto for $21.79

your LS will smell like new again!!

Note: the part number above is for 95-2000 LS400

for 93-94 LS400 use Denso part number 453-1005

for 90-92 LS400, the Toyota filter is really your only good option

I've been using the 3M Filtrete Ultra Allergen Air Filter - 1500 cut to size. On a 20x25" filter, I recollect it is about 8 filters when cut up.

Smog
Smoke
Pollen
Bacteria
Pet dander
Mold spores
Household dust
Dust mite debris
Virus carrying particles
But whatever it is with the system, it doesn't block out skunk aromas.

the Denso's charcoal will do better than the 3M on the skunks

how are you dealing with air not going around the edges on a cut-up filter?

cut up home AC filters for me as well.

all the activated charcoal in the world isn't going to save you from the stench of a day old roadkill skunk in a california summer.

There will be some leakage. The lower resistance of the filter for the most part does not have it flowing to find easier paths. I also use a foam weather insulator to help take up some of the tolerances from hand cutting. The ultimate test is the wife and her allergies. So far, unless it is a mega pollen day, she's been pretty good.

So I'm not the only one who's car cannot block out skunk.

I have an OEM filter in there now but I've used the home A/C filter method with good results too.

How does one change the Cabin Air Filter in the RX 350 2015? Is it glove box? I cannot find out how to remove it.

I have a 2015 RX 350. Do you know how to change the Cabin Air Filter? I opened the glove box and there is a panel on the back but no way to remove it easily. Is it behind that?

Surely you have an Owners Manual for that car. They clearly identify the location and procedures for that in the LS manual, so yours should too.
