I looked at that tutorial to see where it was and I don't see anything cracked ... taking the car to get a tune up next week. You guys have been very helpful.

Here is another idea that might help after going thru all the helpful ideas from above I found that my 1991 LS goes thru smog real easy by changing the oil and go out for a good 15-20 miles run to blow out all the old crap
and have the system hot when you get it smog station. Your goal is to get all the moisture carbon and pollutions out of the engine and muffler system GOOD LUCK. I have over 300,000 miles going for 400,000 miles and all I have changed is the EGR valve and normal tune ups. Many years ago the guys a the Lexus training school here in So Cal told me to use any synthetic oil in the engine it supposed to help keep it clean and help pass smog test not sure on this one, I do use synthetic fluids through out the whole car and everything is still original at over 300,000 miles. All new LS 460's are now using all synthetic fluids through out the whole car

Oh perfect. I'm going to get it a tune up then try to get it tested again and see how that improves the emissions.
