Default Lexus Ls400 problems

ok so we have a 1994 Lexus Ls400 and when we are on the road we try to go fast like just to try it out but when the rpms go up you can hear the car rev but it wont go fast only when it wants to any help

First thing to do is check the level of the transmission fluid after driving while it's hot. It could be low.

great advice, best answer would be "I always check my levels and keep them full."
next best.... I'll do that, and keep watch from now on...
these are terrific cars, but need a little TLC..

this issue is normally either low transmission fluid, or failing ECU capacitors
