Last Fall, our local Toyota dealer had a 2007 Tundra 2WD Regular Cab with over 700,000 miles for sale on their used car lot. Interior looked new and there were minimal rock chips on the front. It could have seen duty as a cross-continental escort - how else could an individual rack up an average of 100k miles per year. My Mom put 260,000 miles in 24 years on a 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass. That was the highest mileage car I had seen before seeing this Tundra.

Your mom drove it less than the national average (260000mi/24years=~10,833mi/year. Average is ~12-18,000mi/year).
700,000mi /8years (assuming it was an early '07 model year sold in '06) = ~ 87,500mi/year. If it was used as a long distance fleet or commute vehicle that's pretty doable.
