Here's something to try wrapping your heads around. Think about how much the guy spent on gas for all those miles...

For those of us with a mere one or two hundred thousand miles on our cars, this is encouraging. No need to worry about buying one with over 200 on the clock if it"s had the right care.
It always amazes me how the lifespan of a car depends on who gets behind the wheel. Some people can really tear up a mechanical device, or make it last.
But one question remains, could I stick with the same car for more than a 100-200k miles and not tire of it? Time will tell.

I wouldn't be surprised if the engine is original, but the transmission is likely to be #2 or #3

I sent the following question to him at his Ebay auction. Hopefully he will respond.

Hello,
Would it be possible to join ClubLexus LS400 Forum to discuss your amazing mileage with a few of us? There are many LS400 enthusiasts who would love to hear some of the history. Thank you in advance.

Don, the Ebay seller got back to me.
Unfortunately, he recently bought the car at an auction and knows nothing of this mystery car. Just that it was last owned by a woman in Florida.
