Default Swerved to save a cat's life at my LS's expense

Was driving home to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday, and the road had a section where it snaked around like an S. Along the first curve a cat decides to run in front of me, I swerve to avoid to, swerveswerveswerve annnnddd I eat it on this fence lined with trees.
Will post pictures soon.
Question is, how much would yall think itd cost for repairs? My LS is my baaaaaby, I dont wanna leave it like this.

he means totaled in the insurance form of the word - you can fix this, of course, but it would cost far more than the car is worth! - you are much better off taking the check and buying a similar Lexus than trying to fix this one - even if it's uninsured for collision, you are still better off buying another one, rather than throwing money at this one, unless you just happen to own a body shop!

and also, even fixed well, this car will never drive the same or be as reliable, that was a good lick on both ends

glad you are OK, that's the main thing, start looking for a replacement similar LS - we'll wait!

Well turns out, I THOUGHT I had full coverage insurance (since im still paying the car off) but I didnt. I guess this LS is a loss

But after the quality that this Lexus has shown me, I think I will for sure be buying another one in the very near future

Yeah, it's not easy to hit animals but it happens. I've hit a few over the years. Nothing too big. Deer are the worst to deal with.

how did you get someone to continue to finance the car if full coverage insurance was lapsed? - the greedy insurance company normally calls the creditor immediately when coverage is dropped!

I learned the hard way years ago, swerving to avoid wildlife makes you 100% responsible for any accident that might happen as a result. My insurance adjuster told me to hit the animal the next time because they would cover that without issue under comprehensive deductible. Where as because I put my car into a guard-rail trying to avoid the animal, I had to take they hit on my premiums to make the claim, pay for it myself or walk away from the car...
