Your 93 to his 96 is not but a 95-97 spring to a 96 air is possible.

The 95-00 factory shock assembly is ~2" longer than the 90-94 LS's. Your 1-LS into his 2-LS is potentially 2" lower ride height and I don't know what the spring rates are between models. The 95+ had a slight tuning adjustment for improved handling (relative to the LS boat feel FWIW) so his may result in an even softer feeling with your springs and shocks.

Fabbing his to fit yours one possibility is altering the spring perch position. That would reduce the nominal piston travel about 2". With the normal compression, that would be close to 4-5" in piston travel used on a non-moving car. Same would happen if hacking the coils off a spring to fit. Either way, the shock becomes the limiting factor as I see it.

Factory shocks are ~$100/corner. Top hats and springs added to that should ball park ~$6-700. (New, street retail) Plenty of springs can be found at the wrecking yard if thinking used.

Many here desire a reduced ride height so off the shelf adjustable lowering coils from Megan, BC-R, etc are $600-$1K. Nicer units will be $1K+.

won't last long. stroke differences will blow the bags relatively soon, especially if rolled low.

they seem to be holding up fine.. doesn't seem to be effecting them..
He paid us $200 to swap so I'm not complaining about free parts!!

as i remember people also said they wouldn't swap over, so we will see how long they last

I sent a PM regarding details on how to wire up the switches. If anyone has any information detailing how to put in 2 simple switches or even one so I can control my stock front air suspension, that would be great.
