All of my door ajar switches are sticking. It works sometime and not in other. When a door is open, if I play with the switch little bit, the interior light comes on.

Has anyone did something about this switches. Is this something I can take it apart and oil it little bit to make the fix or must I replace all four switches?

If I have to replace them, how much are they each?

It doesn't look too difficult to replace them and they look like they cost about $20 from Sewell Lexus. Replace them and you should be good for about another 20 years.

I haven't had this problem yet in mine but I would probably just replace them.

Thanks for the great lead to the solution. I visited the lexls.com often and missed that one.

It doesn't look that bad but the procedure looks like it is involved than I though it would be.

That takes care of front switches but any lead on the rear door switches? Looking at the front procedure, it looks like you have to get to the switch from the trunk it seems......

I am also wondering if the part number for all four would be same? Just checking to make sure...

I couldn't find much in regards to the rear door switch. It's not that much work to get the front ones out.

Replacement will surely last longer than lubricating the switches, but if you do, don't use oil.
It will collect dust over time and make the problem worse.
Try a graphite lube (alcohol-based) on the switch plunger surface.

Silicone spray works well too. Used it on my Landcruiser switches and they worked like new, plus it isn't oil based and won't attract dirt and filthyness.
