Default tires question

anyone running 215/65 R16 on stock wheels?

There is no problem at all with them fitting but why would you want to? You will lose a bit of handling capability, your braking distances will increase a little due to the smaller contact patch and your speedometer reading will be different. Here is one of the many tire size calculators on the web: http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-...0R16/215-65R16

narrower and taller tires seemed to work better on previous snow setup cars I've driven. They should fit fine.

I used to use 215/65 R16 winter tires on stock wheels. I never had any problem with them.
