Default My 00 UCF21

Hey guys, my name is chino and i live in the bay area.

I got my UCF21 through my uncle since he is moving back to stamford, CT. The car is very reliable and i enjoy the ride quality. So far i noticed one problem and i believe its the FCAB is worn out. It has this weird clunking sound whenever i hit the brakes. I plan to fix this problem soon and perform all maintenance that are required before i proceed with my VIP build. I am currently looking for an exhaust set up and based on what i have researched through this forum that a magnaflow product will best suit this 1UZ engine. Please feel free to chime in on what kind of exhaust set up you guys have along with the part #'s for more accurate information. Highly appreciated and peace!

Here is my 2000 Lexus LS400 with 2007 GS350 10 spoke wheels 17x7.5 ET45 and it cleared my BBK with out any spacers.

black interior?!

Drool.... beautiful car. As much as I like the stance cars, this I would have a hard time taking an example like this into a complete build...

Thanks Yoshi! I actually got the wheels for $200, in mint condition. The oem 16's makes the car look old in my opinion.

Yes, black leather interior! I rate it as 8/10 with its current condition. What do you have in mind in this build?

^ what do you mean?

I'm saying if it we're mine I'd have a hard time doing much to it since it looks so good in stock form.

I would however tint the windows, get some updated LS430 17" wheels, maybe lower it the 1" or so on some Eibachs/H&r's, and update the HID bulbs to new Philips units to restore the output. And you can't go wrong with a little sound system.

Some cars just look 'best' in OEM+ looks.

welcome and good job doing research. indeed it is highly likely your front strut rod bushings need replacement at that mileage, with your clunks you are hearing.

i say slam her with 19s !

Thanks for the input. I was actually looking for a 17"s 6 spoke ls430 on 04-06 model. However, there was no luck on craiglist
