Plastic Center Shifter Cover Cracked

Has anyone ever replaced this plastic plate? Is it easy to do? The cover on mine is a kind of burlwood looking plastic -- looks great -- but it has a crack. 1st gen LS400.

You mean the wood trim around the shifter?? It just pops up with a flat screw driver. Probably the acrylic cracked can be stripped back and redone. Or look for another on ebay.

Perfect, thanks. Yes, that is what I mean..the (fake) wood trim around the shifter.

Same thing happened to me. One single crack that goes all the way around framing the shifter quite nicely... The crack is on the wood or perhaps the acrylic coating. Where could I take it to have it refinished?
