Hi everyone, my question is , how do you adjust the timing on a 1992 ls 400. we just put on a new timing belt and when we checked the timing it was way to advanced. If anyone knows how to adjust timing or has experienced my problem, I would be greatly appreciative of any help. Thank you , barry
I have a manual which tells me to lossen the distributor bolts, i have not been able to locate these bolts yet. I am also wondering how difficult or how much work it may take to adjust the timing.

You may want to post this in the general maintenance forum where the Lexus techs can see it. It may not get the right exposure over here.
