The Modification You Are About to See is Real...
Megan coilovers install along with front lower ball joints and new strut bar bushings. I'll be solo today but my buddy will be helping me out tomorrow. My goal for today is just to get the SBB done (removed and new ones pressed in), back seat out, WD-40 everything and let it sit overnight. Now, if you'll excuse me I have to move the car inside the garage because it's getting waaay too hot to do this in the driveway.

ditto! like making a LS convertible!
i'm still gonna watch this thread and answer any questions or concerns you may have. it's not an overly difficult job. most of it can be done by yourself.
one quick note, if these coils are for a UCF10, then you may consider lengthening them before installing as they may be too low out of the box (unless that's the plan).

try working 100+ hours/week in an 8 bay garage in Phoenix where the temp is over 120 in the shade quite often in the summer, with no A/C. evap cooler, etc.
temps inside the shop would often climb to 130-140 or more due to hot pavement, cars running, etc.
but it's a dry heat!

Did you work in a tank top and boogie shorts? Yikes!
That's kinda how i felt about the guy putting a new windshield in my GX today in the mid-90's heat in my driveway.
As far as the thread goes, are you going to post pictures of your progress? Or just the end result?

Heh heh, that was my trick to lure you to this thread. No, nothing ground breaking. Just the usual "I wanna lower my car for no apparent reason" guy just like everyone else. Though I will share with you an interesting discovery not yet mentioned on the various DIY coilover install posts.
So, I am removing my factory air suspension and the whole time I am fighting with stuck bolts and general BS I'm like...where the eff is the air line? It's not on the top or the bottom of the shock or anywhere else in plain sight.
Anyway, I lose that train of thought and as I am about to pull out the first front air shock I find it...sticking out from the side of a grommet in the engine compartment. Unscrewed it with a 14mm wrench and "pooooooooosh", there goes all the air. Nice.

Tim is saying you should lengthen them (ie-thread out of the lower mount) a fair it as they come super low to fit in the box.
