lol i saw these cars (including the LS) on display at the London motor show a few years back.
Call it whatever you like, i thought it was hilarious. Not like there aren't a million+ LS400s roaming around that refuse to die, i don't feel too bad about one getting lightly abused in a hilarious fashion.
Though I would understand if some 1st gen guys were crying over that UK front lip

I did mean to type SC430. Yes I do like the Ls430. Just not a fan of the SC430.
I dont take these guys too seriously. Its all in fun.

What I don't understand is why pick on the thing because it has an old worn out suspension and a tape deck. The car is actually really well built and engineered. Not my favorite Lexus by far but there are so so many others cars that are really pieces of junk. Oh well, to each their own.

Hey I kinda agree with them. The 2nd gen SC's were terrible cars. It felt like lexus was trying to hard at a sport coupe and it didnt really work out. It got the worst sales out of all models since the dawn of lexus, Weighed more than the GS sedan (SC=3880lbs), had a 280hp V8 (
COME ON SON), and had a $80k price tag but couldn't afford to put a CD deck in it...

They left the 2-SC to Sotiris Kovos who also designed the Yaris. That rounded egg shape for both cars is 
It doesn't retain what Toyota had styled during those years. As far as the LS goes, the execution of the cars has endured among the succeeding line-up.

I love how everyone is getting offended and ignore the act that James May chose the LS in the first place as the car he felt would be an ideal base, and pretty much praised the car the whole show.
