Talking LS400 - generation ZERO!
the Crown Deluxe - the first flagship of Toyota that eventually became purview of the LS400 to take over that distinction, they used to drive the President of Japan around in one of these! (circa 1967)

Always wanted a crown. Did they even sell them stateside? I thought they were only imports in the us. If you just bought it congrats!

PS - those hubcaps are off a mustang or something, the real ones are in the trunk, which seems silly to me!

That would look pretty nice VIP style. Are you going to buy it?

The Crown 8 from '64 leading to the Century. Are some cars. I wish the Crown Majesta, Athlete or other variants were stateside.

They did sell here stateside... I forgot exactly what year, but it was one of the first cars that Toyota introduced in America.

Not sure if the crown came with the Toyopet name during its introduction either..
