Default Wire Wheels

Is it possible to put 13' wire Wheels lowrider style rims on a 93 lexus LS 400, or are they not compatable???? Serious answers, everybody has their own style and taste so to each his own. i'm just trying to get an answer to this question simple as that!

dunno. calipers are pretty big, 13" might not be enough to clear. i'd just test-fit to see.

Too small, I'd go with a 17" for all around look. They aren't too big but they're not retarded small like a 13"

+1 on front calibers. Many 16 and 17 inch wheels won't fit because of the size of the front calibers. You often need spacers.

that size won't clear the rotors/calipers/spindle/anything else.

minimum 15''s required for a 1LS.

Agreed with Puredrifter. And personally, if the right wire wheels were chosen, it may not look that bad. Just not the reverse offset type, imo.

I've seen wire wheels on a 1-LS done low rider style, for that style, the owner did a good job. It was accompanied by the multi-colored, big metal flake paint job. They weren't 13's, probably like PD mentioned 15's.

13s can probably fit IF you space them out. you have to use a center lock adapter anyways so if they make them long enough to clear the calipers then i think 13s can work!

Thanks for all the information on this subject to everyone that has given your thoughts and knowledge, but also RA40, that's good to know that's something is possible at least with 15's. So I guess now the question is 15X7,15X6 or 15X10 in size?

Last thing are you guys sure 15's will be alright or will 17's be to big???

Me personally, and purely my own opinion, feel that a UCF10 slammed with 18" wires would look the best. Especially if you can nail the offset/fitment just right.

Something like this, possibly in a staggered fitment. 18x8/10 or 18x9/10

I'm interested in Wired Wheels too. But I prefer 17". I agree, 15" is too small.

I called Dayton Wire Wheels & they said they no longer sell it for SC 430 in any size. He did not provide an explanation why. In fact, he was rather rude over the phone.

Anyway, did anyone install it or have seen a pic? Apart from cleaning, is there any disadvantages?
