it depends a lot on the cosmetic condition and also the autocheck and/or carfax report and whether it has complete service records, the mileage on the car, and any mechanical issues will deduct
LS400's that still look like a new car and have always been kept in the garage and never wrecked or even dented and have complete service records can command high prices
so to answer your question, you could find a 1999 that would bring $3000 or $10,000 depending on the factors above!

I can tell you I paid $7k for mine last year... 99 with 140k on the clock. One owner, Dr's wife out of North Dallas... he described it as pristine...and he was correct. Not a question... all service at Sewell Lexus, on time. Car is awesome and the color was only made for two years... Antique Sterling Metallic (rose)... I don't believe anyone ever sat in the back seat, the only worn spot was the driver floor mat...already bought a new set... she ordered it special from Lexus and only sold it as she upgraded to the RX350... but it's a personal choice... do the research and be happy with the deal and the car and you can't go wrong. I'd buy this one again...

I paid $5.1k for 99 WITH 170K miles one owner verifiable records pristine condition. I know that might not be hard stick for setting the price. Two weeks ago, after a long search my friend bought a 98 clean with 168kmiles excellent condition, verifiable service records for $ 6600. He just had a 4wheel brake job ( two rotors replaced)nowthat is DFW price range. I saw one for $12k but only 43k miles!!That was show room condition and belongs to a small town doctor in Glen Rose TX. That's a 2000 Ls 400...,

43K miles is a negative in my book, that car has sat for a bunch of its life, not good for it - I don't think I would want one with less than about 85K, and even that is pushing it

1 accident is too many for me
also need big pic of driver's seat
if seat & autocheck check out (no accidents or issues, and car is minty like new), then his price is reasonable
PS - that color is cool

on my wifes 99, I paid 7000 in 2010 with 140something, now in 160's..
on my 99, in 2013 I paid 4500 with 228 on it, plus CEL, leaking VC gaskets, and believing it needed TB/WP job. ran vin and found Sewell had replaced them, and spent about 500 bringing it so all was working properly..
so, if those numbers help you any, thats my 2 cents worth...
look up DALLAS craigslist and see the difference in my area and yours....
