Default 1999 LS400 control arm

My car is in a panel shop at present getting some painting done when the guy emails me this photo of a control arm with a damaged ball joint. The ball joint can't be changed so I'm gunna have to get a new control arm. Trouble is, I don't know where it's from. he didn't say and he's not back 'till Monday.
It's not from the front, like it's not an upper or lower control arm. Ive looked on all my part number menu's .... can't find it.....
Does anyone know where on the car this arm goes ?
How embarrassing

unless the AU market is different from the US (which i highly doubt), that is definitely NOT from your car!!!

Well I had the rear wheel off my 98 LS400 this morning and didn't see anything like the one in the picture.
IIRC all the suspension arms on the LS are steel not alloy, looks more like a BMW mini rear arm to me.

That's not an LS400 arm. Front UCAs are literally wishbone shaped, as are the rears (though slightly different). No rear LCA with integrated ball joint, front LCA has a separate ball joint.

Confirmed not from an LS400.

CIGLexus is correct............that is from an SC300/SC400...............your body shop man either made a mistake and sent you the wrong email or he is being shady.
