where in NC are you located? Self leveling HID stock is nifty to have but not necessarily needed. as Sc0pe said Make sure you check out the FAQ since there is alot to learn about the car. Make sure you look into the starter issue. Don't want to be stranded out of town without your tools to fix it.
How many miles does it have? Has the ball joints been changed? Timing belt, waterpump? These cars run for ever just have to keep up with the maintenance.
Id suggest leaving it stock if its your primary driver. But sounds like you are on the right track with coilovers and OEM style 18s.

Once i start doing alot ima buy a daily, but me and my fiance car pool so this will get driven once maybe twice a week.
Plans are coils and some 18s now, after wedding i plan to source some wider nicer wheels then turn the coilovers into air. Long term goals help stay focused

I don't know why you don't like the tan interior.. must be the foolishness of youth ... even after almost 12 years with mine, it's still easy on the eyes, doesn't get as hot in the summer... I think black and grey interiors are too dreary, but to each his own!
Welcome!

another honda owner going to the L badge. welcome man, i came from the same background though i was an accord head mostly. as for the interior i'm with you on tan. i think tan usually means more upkeep to keep it looking clean. black or grey is much easier, and more neutral especially if you fancy a color change.

Dude, you've described my car completely. 98 LS400, Blue/Tan, even has the same factory wheels and I'm out in the sticks in the Raleigh area.

I thought I was like the only person who hated it. In Florida its stupid hot in the summer, definitely not gonna matter what color interior you have, after a certain point hot is just hot.

I got fairly dark tint and it's still stupid hot. Doesn't matter when its parked outside all day and its like 100 degrees outside.
About the only thing to do is get in put the windows down and drive till the AC starts blowin cool air.
