AC control Panel

My AC control panel mode button is not working and neither is my front cigarette lighter. checked fuses . all seem okay. have located used panel from 95 LS 400. Wonder if interchangable with 97 LS400? has anyone ever experienced a dead button on AC panel control? and if so what is remedy? Thank you for any help. Used panel has 30 day guarantee . Price $100 which seems fair.
