Clean your Stained Filthy Dirty Carpet with this
I picked up a can of TUFF STUFF for $0.50 at a garage sale. Best 50 cents I've EVER spent on cleaning my car. Guess this is a review of sorts.
THREE WEEKS OF WIFE DRIVING:
AFTER SCRUBBING WITH TUFF STUFF:
Just thought I'd share my utter astonishment. I had just about given up on trying to get these stains and dirt out. I thought I was going to have to dye my carpet---- I then tried this out.
P.S. I know these pix are not of the same spot. I was so amazed after I cleaned the first part that I took a picture of the next one to show the difference.

Or Mr. Clean
I have a big Rug Doctor carpet cleaner with the upholstery tool on the end, and I make a mixture of water and the yellow Mr. Clean and it works incredible! I've never tried Tuff Stuff but I've heard good things.

Lead Lap
I've been using "Tuff Stuff" the past few years - buy it at Walmart. It seems to do a decent enough job but I haven't found it to be any better than the other foaming cleaners I've used. The only reason I buy it is that it is a commonly available cleaner - didn't go looking for it.

No, I actually ran my shop vac over it while still brushing.
*I brushed to loosen as much dirt as possible
*I then vacuumed to remove the loose dirt
*I sprayed the tuff stuff and let it sit for about 1 minute (do 1 min or less)
*I scrubbed with my nylon stiff bristle brush (be careful not to pull up carpet while scrubbing)
*I vacuumed again while brushing ( I noticed that some sub surface dirt started coming up.)
*Go back over spots that need more attention.
*Have a discussion with your wife and child about how hard you just scrubbed the car and forbid food.

I hear you. There are still some remnants of the stain but what I'm amazed with is the starting point. I had no intention of posting this so I didn't even take a pic of the clean part posted above before I started cleaning. I just had the Oh ***** moment when I looked at the other side.
Anyway, I think this product is great to start the clean with and maybe follow up with something more potent in the areas where the stains are hellbent. - speaking of, what do you suggest for stronger cleaner for those spots that just won't die?
