Default New wheels, questions about sizes.

Hi to all !

I'm planning to buy a new set of wheels in 19 inch. At this right moment I can get 2 sets in 19 inch, but I can't decide yet wich one I will buy.

I whould like to know from the wheel experts on this forum if those wheel will fit without any cutting/rolling fenders, and with what tyre size?

First set:

Team dynamics Equinox white edition.

5x114.3
Front 8,5 x 19 ET35
Rear 9.5 x 19 ET25

Second set:

Genesis Strike

5x114.3
Front 8.5 x 19 ET35
Rear 10.5 x 19 ET23

What do you guys think about the wheels?

Thanks in advance !

Dutchy.

The first set of wheels I believe you should be fine but the second set your gonna need to roll the rear fenders and camber it out a little.

I'll give you an example this is before roll and 0 camber.

Lowering the car will naturally give the car camber but in the next few pics you will see I needed more camber and a roll

After a roll and some camber:

It fits lol.......keep in mind that I have a 18x12 +7 in the rear.

I hope that helps answer your question.

So long as they clear the front calipers on your '97. The first set is reasonably conservative the second set may vary on what tire you have in mind and how low your car is set-up.

How low are you planning to be?Those are pretty sizing and I think you would be alright with just a roll.

both rears will fit fine, the first set without a roll, the second with a roll.

fronts will require a roll either way.

Thanks for the info guys. Im planning to buy the first set.

The height is adjustable, i have a BC coilover set on the Celsior.

What tyre size's do you guys recommend? I think about 235/35 19 and 265/30 19

It's been a while, but i finally have them at home. The team dynamics were to much damaged, to much work so i got the second set of wheels.

Sizes are 19x8.5 offset 35 19x10.5 offset 23, i really hope that i have enough with only a roll on the fenders. I dont want to camber them because it's my daily drive lol. Otherwise i will put the suspension up.

I really don't know wich tyre size i should use and what fits. What do you guys recommend? Front im guessing 235/35 19 and rear 255/30 19 ?

Thanks in advance.

fitment will also depend on how low you are. from a quick estimate, i would suggest a 225/35 front and a 245/35 rear.

Not too low that's for sure. I don't mind to go a bit higher, i can't go inside amsterdam with this setup. I will get stuck somewhere for sure ! The exaust is pretty low on the LS400
