the gulf spec models are nice. you guys get a few extra options over there than we get here stateside.

Those wheels are only 15", not good for your 93. It makes me laugh every time I see those wheels and people have them on the wrong side. 
They're directional. (left and right) I kinda like the burgundy interior, as long as it's mint. Once it starts cracking and getting dirty it looks like it's 50 years old. Sort of like me.

Gulf Specs has rear roof AC, fog lights on the front spoiler, Engine Oil cooler. They generally comes loaded except for the air suspension and other minor stuffs.
the wheels are directional, but sometimes rotation of the tires is needed and I started to ignore the direction part. I'm happy that Lexus cancelled the directional wheels thing.

So last weekend I was roaming the local salvage yard looking for a wrecked ucf20 I could get a tilt away motor out of when I stumbled across this.. A grey 90 with a red leather interior. Funky!! Lol. I know in the early years of the Ls 400 they had some odd styling interior options, like blue and red cloth or leather, but this was the first example I ever saw in the wild. Kinda ugly, but intresting! Makes me think more ford Taurus or Buick roadmaster than a high performance luxury sedan.. I'm guessing others thought that way too, and why this color option was dropped early on lol. It's always sad to see a early ucf10 in the scrapyard. I had a 90 that was pearl white with black leather for years and it was the best car I ever had. Fast fun stylish and bulletproof. Seemed quicker on its heels than my 95 that I have now. Anyway, enjoy the pic.

Hello. The LS400 that goes to hot areas are equipped with higher capacity engine cooling system and rear roof ac unit, of course in addition to the center ac vent which is standard in al LS400 versions. The attached photos shows the rear ac roof vents and the front control unit. Hope it's clear.

Your car is in great shape! :-) I notice that you have a rear AC like me, I have a '92 imported from Qatar, dark green with beige interior. How is your LCD-panel in the Climate Control? Do you know if the LCD-panel for the dual climate control is available anywhere in your country?

I try my best to take care of her. Regarding the LCD, in 1998 the lcd went black and tried my best to find a replacement in the junk yard with no luck, all of them were even worse than mine. Went to the dealer and they initially asked for $1250. Left the issue for around 6 monthes then asked the dealer again they said that they want to get rid of their stock and gave it to me for $550. The new unit seems to be of better quality. Till today it's perfect. See the photo below of my old unit which has the bad lcd. I think there are shops that sells custom replacement lcds.
