Default Door Handle Replace

This was less than pleasant to do , I never want to do that again

no room to work with in the door with my little fat man hands LOL

But it came out great , Funny story I wasnt aware that on these cars the key will bring down the window if held in a position so while one arm holding the lock cylinder from one side and trying to manuveur the lock on the other with the key I started closing the window on my right arm LOL

Then once the job was done I closed up the door put all 8 screws back and and realized I had left the maglite flashlight inside the door , I honestly contemplated if I just let the battery die and leave it in there LOL needless to say I opened it all back up and retrieved my flash light .. =0)

HAhaha ^ evidence is right!!!!! Glad that you're saving a good car even if it may be rough around the the edges.

Oh and I feel your pain on replacing the driver door handle... ugh. I ended up buying a brand new painted one from toyotalexusscionparts for like $115.

i wasn't aware the windows can be rolled down with the key as well! gonna try this out. i thought it was only a german car thing!

this is proof that with a little work, the car can be back on it's feet in no time. how's the timing belt?

Default Working Progress ... =)

Some pics for now , but still working on fitment and adjusting things , might be changing tire sizes right now im running
265/35/18 Rears
245/40/18 fronts
Might go with 235/40/18 fronts or after working fenders and wells a little more maybe rears 275/35/18, but it looks like the 265 seems to fit well so im thinking maybe just a tad smaller fronts

ALSO , for people saying that the rears dont go all the way down on EZ Coilovers , I had plenty of room to slam this thing if I wanted , I dont know if thats different from 90-94 or something but I had no issues with that at all.

Looks really good man! Definitely looks like you could run more tire or more low. Why are your corner lights so bright? Or is it the flash from the camera on the reflectors?

yeah that has to be the flash, they arent bright at all in person lol

I was having some rub but we were both tired at this point .. long day so we will be back at finessing the wells , ride height looked nice but I think it might be a matter of working those fenders and bringing it down just a little ,

What is a good damper setting for these , I want less suspension travel , for comfort we set them first real soft to see how bad rub would be and right now it kinda nose dives if I hit a road wide bump, nothing rubs on a single hit unless its a harsh bump in the road

As far as I remember these are travel adjusted by damper correct? if someone can help me out with this id appreciate it , I want to have a firm feel the road kind of ride but still streetable , but not so soft its tons of travel and rubs .. if that makes sense =0)

Thanks
