Default need help identifying this for ls400



Anyone know where this is connected to for the 96 ls400. Just got done putting motor back together until this pops up out of nowhere

KIND of looks like part of the power steering return tube, or maybe part of the trans cooler lines.

then again, could be just a vacuum lines.

just found out its the radiator reservor. I was like "ohh i think imma to pour all fluids in, oil, coolant, and ps fluid. then when i pour the coolant in i was like wtf... why is there a leaking.
now i know the metal piece side is connected to the reservor, i need to find where the other hose is connected to

i'll take a look at my 95's engine tommorow and see if i can identify what that may be....

thanks! that would be great. think u can check the middle radiator reservior hose as well where that connect to?

Sure thing, sorry i havent had a chance to take a look, we had a bit of an ice storm and right now the hood is totally frozen shut. i'll check again tommorow once it thaws out

Alright, i think you have the radiator bypass pipe, that connects the bottom of the radiator reservior to... whatever it goes to..... On mine the hose connects to the pipe near the P/S pump and then runs under the engine.... is there nothing there for your to hook up to? If not, that may be where they pipe bolts to...

yayy thanks! got it. 1 last thing, where does the vaccum hose on the intake goes too, the one next to the tiny one.
