Default in search for the low,

edit: kind of archiving different suspensions in this thread now while i search for what suspension i truly want. hope this will help others.

whats up new to the forums but been lurking for a while, always wanted a GS but out of my budget and always wanted an LS430 which is also out of my budget, so ls400 it is, Honestly contemplating on whether I really want to pick up a UCF20/21 or a UCF10/11. I won't have cash for mods if i pick up a ucf20, so i take it UCF10 is the route to go, anyways any info I can get on tucking 18x12's in the rear with camber would help me greatly. Heres my current vehicle im coming from, 2011 scion xb on ksport coilovers and mercedes benz alphards, I am a fan of most scenes.

here it is though what are some coilovers that drop low and what mods will i have to do to drop low and tuck 18's?
thank you!
I see:
Megan Ez (rears don't drop as low)

source:
Megan Lp
JIC Magic
JIC VIP (SIckwidit has these if I recall and they were low)

K-sport (drop pretty low all around)

source:
D2 (drop pretty low all around)
note: has youzealand SS Kit and fender work done.

source:
BC Coils with rear top extenders. most likely the extreme low kit

Source:
Function & Form (drop pretty stupid low)

source:
Powered By Max
For the coilovers that I haven't mentioned about I just haven't seen any or much maxed out cars to day anything about them.

18x12 rear with camber?
on a UCF1x you'll be needing radius'd fenders and/or widebody.
on a UCF2x you'll be needing a MASSIVE pull or radius'd fenders.

Please read the stickied links and faq threads.

On a UCF10, an 18x12 will be a pain.

UCF20, I've fit 12's under the rear of my car with a decent pull.

PBM, KSport (what I'm on personally.), BC are all coils that go pretty low on these cars. To my knowledge on a UCF10 Megan's give a decent drop also.

yeah im on Ksports right now on my xb but the way my suspension is set up its a pain to fit wheels without screwing up fenders, i have a solid rear subframe so it just goes straight up and forward and not in like most other cars,

I was thinking PBM, BC, Ksport, or D2's, I have seen D2's go pretty low.
and for the 12's I may and may not go that route, I might just go 11 or 11.5 with negative offsets to get mass lip and would like to get some battle version camber arms.

Ksports have a poor rep, D2s are an unknown. The megans and BC Extremes (or if you can finangle a set, Tanabe Super Low Down) are your best bet.

If you try to go 11 or 11.5 negative offset on a stock or rolled rear fender car, even with arms, you're going to need custom axles and custom RUCAs to get them to fit. Basically what member sickwidit had done. (for UCF2x chassis)

So that's the owner! That's pretty much exactly how I want to sit, sick how he's that low on the 20" Garson ryugi's! I'll be taking a look at his build thread!

BC can go low.
Megan LP fronts can go really low rears not so much ( I have this on my 99)

11.5 with negative offsets will be a mission to fit.
Rear arms with cost you around 500-900 front Crca will be $300++
You can really get massive lips on a UCF coz of the BBK up front so you need R disk/High Disk to fit

full arms for the rear will be a lot more than $900, the RUCAs will need to be completely custom fab'd and the Studio/BV arms alone are ~$700 for toe links/traction rods/lcas.

sigh well gotta pay to play, im glad im getting all this info before I dive in, gonna try doing this on a budget but correctly. Just gonna have to hustle harder and cut some luxuries. Ill figure out the final wheel specs when im ready, I have a friend with 11.5 -10 Work VS Kf's that i could probably test fit so that will keep me from wasting 2-3k on wheels that won't fit well enough.

Here you go. Thank me later! These will go SUPER LOW! So low that you will hit frame before you max the low on these bad boys!

Call Function and Form and tell them that Julian with the gold LS400 sent you! You will get a "hook up price" if you get them straight from them!

@sleepywagon found that thread last night at work! Added that to the choices of ksport, d2,and BC Extreme drop.
Have you had any problems with them seizing up at all? I'm going to be daily driving mine pretty close to how yours is set up, frame banging low.
That will fit a ucf1x no problem right? I heard the stroke and stuff is different for the uncf1x vs 2x. 1x coils go both ways while 2x can go bth ways but will have more premature wear if used on a 1x.
ps did you own a Suby?
