I would love to know the OEM for inner & outer tie rod ends, strut rods, upper control arms, bushings, and other suspension components, if anyone can contribute on that.

Awesome thread is awesome, however, isn't the trans fluid strictly Toyota T-IV whereas the power steering fluid would be Mobil? Just wondering.
We need an aftermarket section thread, I might sort all these into categories in my spare time. This is great info.

and if your Mazda dealer has a better price, you can certainly buy your Mobil 3309 from them:

I've been underneath my car for the last half hour or so, and the back of my calipers are marked "Sumitomo." I see you stated Akebono as the OEM supplier and Sumitomo as a possible pad supplier, but would it be possible for Sumitomo to have made the calipers as well? Mine's a '97.

the problem i see here is that toyota has used different manufacturers for the same part in the SAME YEAR, and uses different manufacturers for the same part across different years. so this would only be useful if you say what years that manufacturer made said part.
'95-00 afik:
Air filter:NipponDenso
Front brake calipers: Sumitomo
more when i have time and rest

speaking of Sumitomo, I understand that they are no longer in the caliper business, and that Advics has bought up all of their plants and tooling etc.

Toyota doesn't manufacture any fluids, they buy them from the petroleum refiners, Toyota T-IV is just relabeled Mobil 3309 ATF that is just sold in a Toyota bottle. It's Aisin who specifies this fluid.
and if your Mazda dealer has a better price, you can certainly buy your Mobil 3309 from them:

i would assume toyota actually makes the tie rods, and suspension components besides the struts themselves.

Most of engine temp sensors used for Toyota are supplied from 2 major companies, SEMITEC and OHIZUMI. P/N 89422-20010 must be manufactured by one of them.
Yes, KUZEH is supplying thermostats to Toyota. I found mine was KUZEH
As far as I know, tie rod ends and upper control arms are manufactured by TOYOTETSU
どうもありがとう muchas gracias!!
