Default Oil Filter Relocation kit

Is anyone running an aftermarket oil filter relocation kit?

I need to relocate the oil filter on my 96' 1UZ motor and want a remote filter location.

I've searched, but can't find much in this forum. Even the SC400 forum only lists the guys doing this that have the Supra Swap done.

Searching for "Toyota 1UZ oil filter relocation" on Google found: http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com...step=4&pid=290

Hmmm ... their website doesn't seem to always display the webpage address I posted. Here is a clip of it. At the bottom it says to send an email if interested in the product which costs $79.

According to another thread, the OP is building an Ultra-4 vehicle - like for http://ultra4racing.com/ Maybe he doesn't want to chance getting the filter knocked off by debris or needs the clearance to fit the engine to the vehicle.

Some people relocate oil filters simply to make them easier to reach when changing them or when the oil filter is in the way of other modifications they want to make ... or just to say they did it.

Some car manufacturers put the oil filter remotely at the top of the engine bay where it is easy to reach ... one of the few aspects I liked about my last Mercedes.

As stated above, I am installing the 1UZ into an Ultra 4 buggy. With the dual triangulated suspension I am building, there was no room for up travel so I will need to relocate it some place else as well as run a cooler for it. This motor will be boosted as well.

If you can use the same oil filter on the 2JZ and the 1UZ then doesn't it stand to reason that you could use an oil relocator from a 2JZ on a 1UZ? MVP and Suprastore have them.
