Default Wheel Spacer Help for GS430 wheels

I have a 2000 LS400

I also have an extra set of GS430 wheels
they are 17x8
not sure of the offset.
I know they will NOT clear the front caliper.
What size spacer should i go in the front and rear if I want to get them more flushed.

Do you think these will look ok?

The offset is probably +45. I used 15mm front and 25mm in the rear so they would match. Since the rears are more inset from the factory it makes them perfect on an Lexus 18/8.5 rim. You are running 17" and I would probably do 20mm in the rear considering tire size and either 10 or 15 in the front. You should do an alignment as well.

Why align the car for a simple wheel change with spacers?

Beyond to maintain good maintenance practices to minimize tire wear, there is no change to the dynamics of the suspension which would require the car to need an alignment after a set of spacers let alone a wheel/tire swap.

If you are just suggesting it for piece of mind, I'm all for that!
It is by no means a requirement!

OP,
what year are the gs430 wheels from? I was running a set of 06 gs430 18s and they cleared the brakes just fine. They were close but the GS430s from that body style had some pretty big calipers.
If you haven't checked for yourself, never hurts to jack up one side and test fit them yourself!

15 and 20mm would be ok and you may get a 25mm in the back. Those are 2-GS wheels by my memory '02 or '03.

I like the stock wheels on the 98's. I'd like a set of machine finished stockies.

I'm not an auto technician but I think between the wheel and tire change plus spacers I bet it could use some adjustments. Worth having them at least put it on a machine to see.
