I have an opportunity to get a Nav system for my 99 LS400. The seller says it's all new, and complete. He's asking for $1500 for the kit. Any idea if this is worth it including the labor to have it installed?

Hmmm..complete set should have the Nav screen, Nav ECU and the GPS antenna. I'm not sure the LS are pre-wire on the non-Nav car or not. Plus the A/C control, Radio control and some another function are tight into the system. You better check it out before spending $1500.00 for nothing.
