MEYLE is german engineering parts, and should be good to great. stay out of china.

The making of MEYLE-HD parts
When developing MEYLE-HD spare parts engineers have only one goal in mind: creating automotive parts which top the original in terms of durability and service life. To achieve this goal they analyse the weak points of OE components and subsequently correct these, for example by using higher-grade materials or by a more robust part design.

We used a lot of them in high end german cars at my old shop. good stuff, and well priced although, iirc, were lighter duty than OEM in most cases.

I'd really like to get my hands on a set of the Moogs, B/A's, Meyle's and Lexus arms and mic and measure them all up and see which one is better and/or most accurate replacement for stock!

just because it is a German brand, doesn't mean it is made in Germany!

ever notice how fancy brands will get a good reputation, and then ***** out their good name to all kinds of Chinese crap? - yes Sony, Bose, GE, Philips, Lexmark, and a 1000 others, I am talking to YOU!

Did he say how long they had been in use at that time? Amazing price.

he just said that they looked well made, fit well, and cured his clunking noise, he just did it so we have no info on longevity

I did the Moog outer tie rod ends myself 8months ago and the passenger side failed already so I had to replace it. Pep Boys actually dropped them as a supplier for outter tie rod ends due to thier high failure rate (I was told). They're telling me the same thing though ( that I have a bad "lateral arm bushing") on the passenger side. I'm having them do my lower ball joint on the driver side because I've heard it clunking and creaking over there and we all know better safe than sorry ( with a freaking wheel breaking off!!) when those fail...
