The New Guy: 1999 Lexus LS400
Alright, so let's get the basics out of the way. My name is Preston, I hail from North Port, Florida (just a few minutes south of Sarasota). I'm 16 years old (as of November 13, 2012). I've been lurking these forums for well over a year now since I was researching the LS400 and what people have been doing with it.
So, enough about me, here are some pictures of the car:
And Platinum Club to boot
Why did I choose the LS400?
Well, my reason for choosing the LS400 in the first place was after seeing a video on YouTube that was basically a slideshow of VIP cars (I'll link it here once I find it :P). Then, I did some more research on it and discovered Junction Produce and then that led me to discover the LS. Now I've been seeing it around and always thought of it as a boring car but then I saw where people took it in terms of aesthetics and was absolutely woo'ed. Up until then, I had this sort of addiction to the Nissan Skyline and 240SX/Silvia (basically, I was hooked on drifting).
Do I have plans for the car?
Why, yes. Yes I do. I'm heading the VIP route with this car. Anything happening now? Well, aside from mild interior additions (think neckpads, fusa/tsuna, pillows [at least for the driver's seat]).

Haha, thanks guys. My dad's just awesome like that :P. Originally, I wanted a Black/Grey two-toned '94 but my dad wanted something newer and found this beauty. I mean, at first, I didn't like the idea that it was green but the color sort of grew on me after looking at (modified versions of) it some more :P Definitely unique in my opinion,

Thanks Shmee And bobafreak, as far as 'rolling up to the local community college' goes, I can't really do that for a bit. I'm graduating this year though (yeah, I'm a Senior in high school) and I'll be getting my license in late May (yeah, that's what I get for procrastinating on the permit lol) and hopefully, by then I've got some mods done. Then I get to drive it (by myself) for 5 days before school's out. So I won't be driving it (by myself) for the next 6 months :/ The bright side? I get to learn the car, and, if I do come across a lot of money (lol, like that'll happen anytime soon :P) I can get to the more "crippling" mods (think suspension and aero) that would otherwise leave my car in "the shop" for some time.
On a side note, the holes for the front license plate have what appears to be the remains of a screw (I'm assuming it was used to hold some form of front plate) in one of the holes. Any ideas on how I could get that taken care of? And it's a little late to go and take a picture so I'll get on that tomorrow.

how much did you guys picked it up and how many mile?
regarding mods don't waste your time on the accessories too much just a waste of money IMO
just jump on the good stuff like suspension, wheels, etc..
